What are you good at and what do you enjoy? In today's blog post challenge from Natalie Sission, we talk about identifying our super powers!
Defining a super power for myself is a bit intimidating, but I will give it a go! So I got to work and thought - What am I good at?
I am good at talking to people and really listening to what people have to say. I really like to hear people's stories and offer constructive advice that I think would work for them.
Making people feel comfortable is also a strength of mine. I have always been good at reading people's body language and being able to see how they are feeling. I have empathy for people and can put myself in their situation. This also likely plays in to listening to people, because I am genuinely interested in people's stories.
To round it out, I have been told I have a good way of saying things in a positive and understanding way. I am able to deliver news that is not always the most fun in a way that gets the message across but leaves the recipient in a good place. This has been a helpful asset in my Human Resources job and one that also helps when coaching clients.
