So why not start that journey today?
If you want some extra spending money on the side, you can start an online business to get the funds coming in. It will be flexible, so the amount of time you put in will determine how much you get out of it. If you have debt, having a side gig and using that money to pay it off can be a great way to pay it off sooner. If you are awesome and have no debt, put the extra money to the side for something cool like a vacation!
Try Before You Buy
Starting your business idea on the side while still having the security of a full time job is a safe way to see if your idea is viable. You can also try it out to see if your idea is something you actually enjoy and that you are passionate about. As you gain traction, you can make the transition from part time to full time entrepreneur if that's what you want. Why not see if it will be successful first.
We are at work all day long and to keep from going crazy, it may be good to spend some time thinking about something else. Maybe you like writing and want to start freelancing? Maybe photography is your passion? Using your time on the side to work on things you are passionate about will help you feel like you don't have time to do what you love.
